Pieke Bergmans

This young designer was fresh from the  Royal College of Art in London when she won the Rosenthal Design Awards Special Prize in the  “Re-Design” category in 2004. She subsequently acquired further experience of working with porcelain as a material at the  Rosenthal Creative Center. Here the idea for which she won the Special Prize was developed further, with great attention to detail. The result of this work, the series of vases »Taped«, was unveiled to the public in 2006.
