Christophe De la Fontaine

Christophe de la Fontaine was born in Luxembourg in 1976 and studied sculpture at the city’s Lycée des Arts et Métiers. Between 1996 and 2002 he then studied industrial design under Richard Sapper at the State Academy of Art and Design in Stuttgart. After spells in London, Milan and Munich, he headed the design department of the Patricia Urquiola studio between 2003 and 2009. In parallel with this position, he continued to pursue his freelance work, taking part in numerous art and design shows. In 2010, he opened his own design studio in Milan.
