Hanna Krüger

Hanna Krüger was born in Berlin in 1979. After training as a furniture maker, she studied product design with a focus on furniture design and exhibition architecture. She was involved in a number of academic projects while still completing her studies and was the recipient of a scholarship for the gifted and talented from the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in the years 2006–2011.

An important theme in Hanna Krüger’s work is the moment of creation and production, during which man, materials, machines and the cultural context are brought together in one process. The next significant moment occurs when the product begins to radiate its true essence and reveal its character.
