Tectronic Copper
The dishes with the titanium décor on white porcelain in the “Tectonics” series by the British designer Cairn Young seem like small gentle waves shining on the sea. The special shape of the 14 inch dish is created using a lengthy casting process in a mould that has several parts. Only one dish can be made each day because of the long waiting periods involved. The smaller sizes have a hollow moulding procedure to thank for their extravagant shapes.
