Suomi Celebration Collection Designed by Atelier LZCRosenthal’s long-established and highly successful “Suomi” porcelain pattern, designed by the Finnish designer Timo Sarpaneva in 1976, represents a milestone in the company’s Studio-Line history. “Suomi” embodies Rosenthal’s standards for excellence and authenticity in modern design. To mark the 30th anniversary of the “Suomi” form, the trend-setting French Atelier LZC – best-known for its poular “scissor cut style” -- has crafted the new “Suomi Celebration” collection.
The “Suomi” form lends itself perfectly for décor variations with its flat surface areas. The new décor runs like a scissor cut across the porcelain in a fine gold-silver-grey appearance, thus creating a discreetly colored accent on the pattern’s white form.
